Following the Australian open in January, we got our first look at the players no doubt some of us will be following throughout the year. And, with the French Open less than 3 months away, we ask a few questions that we believe remain unanswered from 2018.

Will Aryna Sabalenka win a major? 

The 2018 WTA's Newcomer of the year rightfully earned her first number 1 seed at the Tourney de Quebec, but lost out in the first round. However, she was back to winning ways at the Wuhan Open. Following an impressive first year on the tour. With strong groundstrokes from the baseline and her aggressive serve, her play would suggest favouring both grass and hardcourts. And, despite being one of the pre tournament favourites for the Australian Open she failed to find her form. What are your thoughts? Could Wimbledon be her first major win? 



Will Andy Murray return? 

Following his emotional press conference just prior to the Australian Open, the tide towards retirement seemed to be flowing for Murray. However, following successful hip operation it now appears him returning to the court could be 90% or more. More importantly though, even if he does return, is Murray likely to achieve the level of success of old? We sure hope so. 

Will the Davies cup 

Two time winner of the Davis Cup, Thomas Berdych suggested the new style event will mean its death. Whilst Leyton Hewitt called the decision a disgrace. It is suggested that the new format may lead to a drop out of the top players. However, will this provide a new stage for rising stars to get some much needed competition experience? Whilst everyone has their own opinion, we will hold off on ours until the end the year.



Will Serena Williams add to her 23 Grand Slam Titles

Serena is arguably one of the greatest players of all time but with the rise of so many potential slam winner on the Women's circuit could she have to wait even longer until she equals Margaret Courts all time grand slam record.

Who will end the year as World Number 1?
The Obvious names that come to find in the Men's are Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev. In the ladies, it could be quite wide open. Following her win at the Australian Open could Naomi Osaka take number 1, or will Angelique Kerber or Karolina Pliskova take top spot? What do you think?
