How the TFF Sessions are delivered
TFF Sessions are either:
* TFF Parks - Our main scheme run on public facilities with two courts or more. The scheme starts as a 12yrs+ session and as the tennis community at the park grows, it expands to encompass all ages and standards.
* TFF Clubs - A yellow ball session delivered in Tennis Clubs and other private facilities for aged 12yrs players and above.
TFF Parks
The TFF Sessions, run at our participating public facilities, starts out as a scheme for 12yrs+ players and expands to welcome all members of the local community from children as young as 3yrs to our oldest to date at 84yrs. The sessions are family oriented meaning that there's something for everyone. TFF (12yrs+) is run as a yellow ball session as the 'Improvers+ Group'. In the case of 'TFF Parks - All Ages' players are split into sub groups to accommodate the differing standards. As the sub-groups are standard based, we don't label them according to age, rather 'Parent & Child Group', 'Beginner Groups, 'Improvers+ Group'.
TFF Parks (both 12yrs+ version and ALL AGES version) run as a single hour. The 12yrs+ version requires just one coach delivering the Improvers+ format to the attendees. The All Ages TFF version requires two coaches and a volunteer, or a coach and two volunteers who will deliver 3 sub-groups:
The drills and games we use in the sub-groups can be seen as follows:

TFF Parks
The Coach Led session is typically run by local coaches (although no coaching is featured within the sessions), coach assistants and members of the local community in many cases. They will deliver a fun drills and games based session.
The example above is the 'All Ages TFF' version. The 12yrs+ version will just feature the Improvers+ group.
The TFF scheme is delivered as part of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with TFF, the Tennis Provider and the local authority. If you're interested in delivering the TFF programme on a set of public park courts, you can view the Understanding TFF document or a short Q&A document to understand the scheme in more detail.
TFF Clubs
TFF Clubs is the clubs version of the Tennis For Free scheme that operates on Tennis Clubs and other private tennis facilities. The goal of TFF Clubs is for the host club to deliver a 1 hour fast paced and fun session to players of 12yrs+ at their club to help drive their club membership and other tennis services. The session can be delivered to both members and non-members and therefore a great balance of members showcasing their facility to non-members as part of the fun and engaging session.
